Can I set up a tasting?

We do not conduct formal tastings as we are a walk in shop.  Send us a message on Facebook and schedule a date where you can pick up a sample box of what we offer. The box will include the flavors from the specific week you pick up and unfortunately we cannot take requests for flavors unless it is 24 of a kind. We always deliver on FLAVOR so if you love a specific flavor combo, you are sure to love our version of the cupcake!

Which flavors can I choose?

The flavor list is located at thesaltedcupcake.com/menu.  We do not custom decorate, but you are welcome to pick any flavors you can dream up and they will be beautifully decorated according to flavor.

How many flavors can I choose?

Couples typically choose 3-5 flavors, but you are welcome to pick as many or few as you would like!

How many should I order?

We recommend one cupcake per person.  The cupcakes are very rich and filling, and although some people may try more than one, others may not like sweets, be full from dinner, etc. so one per person is a good estimate.

Do you provide cutting cakes?

We only make cupcakes but is very cute to cut into a cupcake for the ceremonious first picture! We can also package two cupcakes separately for you to freeze for your first anniversary.

Do you deliver?

Our cupcakes are for pick up only and are baked fresh by 10am each morning for pick up. If you know anyone going to your wedding that may be in town that day, anyone is welcome to pick up the order and it does not have to be a listed contact person.

What do the rental standS look like?

The small white stand holds about 40 cupcakes, the large white stand holds about 120 cupcakes.

**Please leave stands fully assembled when transporting. A $200 fee will be charged for unassembled stands as they need to be completely rebuilt.

Stand rental

Pay your stand rental fee ($40) with your balance when you fill out the contract form. When you return your stand we will give you a refund for your deposit of $100

What do I need to provide?

A cake table with linens, and flavor signs, if desired. We do not provide cupcake/flavor signs.

When do I need to pick my flavors?

You may fill out the contract at any time, but flavor selections need not be made until a month before your event.

What is the pricing?

Pricing is according to quantity regardless of which kind of cupcakes were ordered. The price is $4.25 per cupcake for bulk packaging or $5 per cupcake for individuals.

How do I reserve my date?

Signing the contract and paying the full balance ($4.25 per cupcakes plus stand fee if desired) reserves your date. We will not hold your date until the event is paid up and contract submitted. Once you have your final count closer to the event date you can pay more to add cupcakes to your order or we can reimburse you to lower the cupcake quantity.

Can I write a Check?

Checks are preferred! Drop off at our store or mail them to The Salted Cupcake, 2481 32nd Street SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49512.

We can also email you an invoice or take payment over the phone. A 3.75% invoice fee will be charged for phone or emailed invoice payments.
